We are a dedicated and dynamic group of professionals who provide assessment, treatment and consultation services to adults, couples, and families in the Ottawa area. Our team consists of:
Dr. Tammie Ricci, C. Psych
Dr. Ricci is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) with competencies in clinical and rehabilitation psychology. She received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from York University in Toronto. She trained in a variety of clinical settings including the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in Toronto, the Chiropractic College in Toronto, the Counselling and Development Centre – York University in Toronto, and the Downsview Rehabilitation Centre in Toronto. She has worked at The Paul Menton Centre at Carleton University and at the Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre in Ottawa. She has been in private practice for the last twenty-eight years and has owned/operated a group practice for the last 19 years with a focus on assessment and treatment of clients with physical injuries, sexual abuse/harassment, adjustment to disability, chronic pain, trauma, anxiety, depression and personality disorders.
Dr. Ricci supervises members of CPBAO and qualifying members of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Canadian Psychological Association, the Ontario Psychological Association, the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment, the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators, the Ottawa Academy of Psychology, and the Canadian Registry of Health Care Providers. She conducts independent evaluations and provides expert witness testimony. She has been qualified as an expert witness in Licensing Appeal Tribunal (LAT) proceedings, Ontario Family Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Justice in matters of personal injury, sexual abuse/assault, trauma and mental health impact on employability. She has extensive training in the American Medical Association Guides (AMA) 4th Edition as well as the AMA Guides 6th Edition. She ia also a registered provider for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, the Department of National Defence, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Veteran Affairs Canada.
Dr. Gary Gerber, C. Psych.
Dr. Gerber received his M.A. in psychology from the University of Western Ontario, and his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Saskatchewan. He joined Brockville Psychiatric Hospital in 1984 as a psychologist in the Rehabilitation Service, and became Director of Research and Chief Psychologist, as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Ottawa.
Dr. Gerber was appointed as Clinical Director of the Acquired Brain Injury Behaviour Services at West Park Healthcare Centre in Toronto in 1999, and established a behavioural outreach service in 2000. His research focused on studying outcomes for persons with serious mental illness or with acquired brain injury who receive services from a specialized community rehabilitation teams. In his private practice Gary provides behaviourally based counselling to persons who have sustained acquired brain injuries and other serious injuries.
Dr. Daria Kolmogorova, C.Psych.
Dr. Kolmogorova is a Registered Psychologist who completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa (2021) and her pre-doctoral residency in the Toronto Area Residency Consortium’s Adult Track: Neuropsychology/Health Psychology. Her training has focused on the assessment and treatment of a broad range of mental health concerns related to psychiatric conditions (e.g., depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD) and medical diseases/conditions (e.g., acquired brain injuries, cancer, tumour).
Dr. Kolmogorova provides assessment and treatment services in the practice areas of Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology, and Rehabilitation Psychology. Her therapeutic approach aims to foster meaningful change in her clients using a collaborative, client-centred approach informed by evidence-based practices. She has experience and training in several different evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, emotionally-focused therapy, and schema therapy.
Rabah Musa, MA, RP
Mrs. Musa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice, making her a trusted partner in your journey towards well-being. She holds an honours undergraduate degree in psychology, women’s studies, and religion from the University of Ottawa, along with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. Her qualifications are further enhanced by certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Crisis Management. As a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Mrs. Musa has dedicated over a decade to addressing issues such as racialized discrimination, crisis intervention, trauma-focused therapy, domestic violence, addiction, homelessness, acculturation, integration, and the challenges faced by newcomers to Canada.
Mrs. Musa specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, addictions, stress management, and navigating life transitions. She employs evidence-based techniques rooted in positive psychology, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Attachment Theory. Her approach is holistic and client-centered, emphasizing the importance of understanding each individual as a whole person. Mrs. Musa is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships, working collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths and set achievable goals. With her compassionate and comprehensive approach, she is dedicated to helping clients make meaningful progress in their lives.
Peter Soliman, MSc OT Reg. (Ont.)
Peter is a registered occupational therapist in Ontario with experience in assessing and supporting a wide range of clients. He is a dedicated and compassionate individual with expertise in cognitive behavioural therapy, behavioural activation and exposure treatment.
Peter works with a diverse client group and symptom areas including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and adjustment to injury. With a deep understanding of the emotional aspects of daily living, Peter is eager to work closely with clients to create safe, supportive environments where they can gradually learn to better manage their symptoms.
In his free time, Peter enjoys exploring local coffee shops, going on hikes and working out.
Andi Phaelle Gedeon MA, RP (Q)
Andi Phaelle Gedeon is a warm, compassionate, and versatile bilingual (English/French) therapist. She is a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Master’s in Counselling, Psychotherapy & Spirituality from Saint Paul’s University.
In her practice, she utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and, in some cases, Solution-Focused Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. She has worked with a diverse client base, addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, abandonment, childhood trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, Autism, ADHD, stress management, life transitions, burnout, and more. Her therapeutic approach is humanistic and person-centered, and she is passionate about creating a safe and comfortable space where clients can begin and/or continue their healing process.
Ms. Charlene Letemplier (Office Manager)
Ms. Letemplier is our Office Manager with a background in administration and health care and specialized training in special care counseling. She is responsible for greeting clients, coordinating client appointments, answering phones, filing, and organizing of the office environment.
